Leigh Borden is a teacher librarian at Holy Trinity Elementary in Torbay, NL. At Holy Trinity, she teaches students at all grade levels, and enjoys working with teachers to develop exciting learning experiences for all students. Leigh has taught at all grade levels from Kindergarten to grade 12, as well as at the university level. Before coming to Holy Trinity, she taught at Prince of Wales Collegiate in St. John's and Pierre Laporte Middle School in Toronto, Ontario. She received her BA (Hons) in English Literature from Memorial University, and later completed her Master of Arts at the University of Toronto and her Master of Teaching at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Leigh is also President of Teacher Librarians of Newfoundland and Labrador and is an ardent advocate for quality school library programs for all.
